Basic Herb Garden

Of course there are no rules when planting a basic herb garden. Herbs grow well on a window sill, in containers, as borders and along with other plants in your garden.

Common herbs that can be grown in a basic herb garden include many favorites. But its also an opportunity to try something new.

Basil is a great addition to your tomato garden. Parsley is said to keep Aphids out of the garden.

There are many plants are easy to grow in a basic herb garden. Most don't like wet feet, prefer to be grown in full sun and benefit from being trimmed back and harvested.
