CILANTRO | Growing Herbs

GROWING CILANTRO

This strongly scented annual of the parsley family is easily grown from seeds or small plants. Its widely used in Mexican and Spanish dishes as well as Asian cuisine. Imagine Gazpacho or Pad Thai without Cilantro!

Plant Cilantro early, because it will bolt in the heat.

Even better is to plant the Cilantro seeds in late fall for an early spring start.

After the cilantro plants are established, let nature water.

For a continuous harvest, plant every couple of weeks.

Cilantro looks like Italian parsley with beautiful green leaves that grow smaller as the plant matures to a height of over two feet.

Easy to grow, but quick to go to seed, enjoy growing

Cilantro.
